How can you cut your own hair layers?
How can hair clippers and cut their own layers? I just cut my own hair using brush technique all forward and trim the ends and everything went great! Does anyone know how to cut their own layers? I just cut my hair using the technique to comb all forward while wet, and slowly from one extreme to the other. Wondefully It worked! It's a big savings, so do not have to go to the hairdresser both (I have very long hair that grows very quickly), and great Inbetween major cutbacks. I was wondering if anyone knows how to cut their own layers? still goes to the maintenance room, but Id love to know how cutting room visits between them. Any help is very appreciated!
Well, if you not afraid to try ,….. this is a way I've tried and it worked very well. I am a hairdresser ,…. but if you follow what they say they should be fine too. I have done several Sometimes in my own hair now. The best suggestion I can give is for you to buy one of those combs that hairdressers use with measures marked along the back comb. Unless your hair is much longer than the length of the ridge this may not work for you. But if you have a good eye for the length of this could still function. So once you decide how long you want the top layer that you take a section of 1 x 1 square inch of hair on top of head to start or to use a guide or an inch square, and hold the comb measurements near him and decide the length. Be sure to keep each section hair at an angle of 90 degrees out of his head to be sure of its length, this is how you measure it. Once you decide what length you want to cut that layer is the rest same. Cut all the hair on the head of the same length by cutting it all off in one square inch each time you make the cut. So if for example you decided to cut all the hair on their heads to 7 inches, then that is the length is measured against each section and then just clip is on the mark than 7 inches long or whatever you want it to be. If the length you want is longer than the comb, you probably can guess how much beyond the length of the ridge you would like to cut and then do the same with the rest of your hair. Once completed cutting all the hair the same length of her scalp to the end, then you might lean forward and comb your hair to the face and if the hairs are standing out too long single seat down to match the rest of your hair.
